I spent some time this weekend sorting out old journals and a memory box, including some old fashioned paper letters. Some of them are over forty years old. I didn’t dig into the memories and read the letters, but they are there waiting for me when I want to read them.

Set your timer for ten minutes.
Start with Dear….. and write!
If you are writing fiction, write a letter for one of your characters. She or he may even want to send it. What will the recipient do with the news they receive?
